When will my service be activated?

Upon reaching your destination, you can activate your eSIM to start your plan.

How can I check my remaining data usage?

To check your data balance, log in to our website and navigate to ‘My Account’ > ‘My eSIM’s’. We’ll also email you when you reach 80% of your plan. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to us via chat, WhatsApp, or the ‘Contact Us’ page.

How do I set up my eSIM on my device?

  • Open Camera App in your device where you want to install & activate eSIM data plan.
  • Now scan the QR Code which you have received in your registered email id. After that Tap on the notification that appears on top says “Data Plan”.
  • Follow the instructions on the screen.
  • Additional NOTE:-
    • Once the new Data Plan has been added, please make sure that Data Roaming is set to ON in your phone’s Settings.
    • Turn off Data Roaming on your Primary SIM card to prevent data roaming charges.
    • Temporarily disable high data consuming/background syncing apps like iCloud Drive, Google Sync, or any other apps.
    • If you install the eSIM before you arrive in your destination, be sure to change the eSIM plan to your primary Cellular Data plan when you arrive.
    • Connecting to the Internet:-After successfully activating your eSIM, your device will begin searching for a signal immediately. In most cases, a data connection will be established immediately, and you will see 5G or 4G LTE in the signal status. This means you are connected and ready to go! In very rare cases, it may take up to 15-20 minutes for a data connection to be established. Don’t panic please be patient, as there are many data carriers and environmental factors that can affect the activation time.

In which countries can Muskbird’s eSIM be used?

Muskbird eSIMs are available for 130 countries. We suggest verifying that your travel destinations are supported before making a purchase.
*Pro tip: eSIMs may not function on cruises since they depend on specific country networks.

Does an eSIM replace my current cell phone plan?

No. Smartphones that support eSIM data plans use them alongside traditional cellular plans. eSIM plans are designed to be used as an add-on to your main phone plan, and they do not provide a phone number for calling or SMS.

Can I activate an eSIM on more than one device?

No. eSIM can be installed on only one device. So you have to Purchase an additional eSIM for the another device or alternatively you can share Internet via turning on Mobile Hotspot of eSIM device and connect your other devices through Wi-Fi.
